YMCA Strategic Partner Program
Many of the YMCA of Greater Hartford’s accomplishments have been built through strong partnerships with corporate, foundation, and community leaders.
For over 170 years, this generous support has helped the Y to be the place where everyone is welcome. Our Strategic Partner Program is a partnership between business and foundation leaders and the Y to carry out its core purpose of fostering wellness and positive change in the communities it serves.
Through direct support, your organization can fund values-centered youth education and sports programs, teen leadership development programs, membership and camping scholarships, life-saving water safety and learn-to-swim programs, wellness programs like LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, and many more. You can lead the way in helping our communities thrive and showcase your belief in the YMCA’s mission.
As a Y Strategic Partner, we can offer several recognition benefits including brand awareness opportunities, recognition at Y special events, and volunteer opportunities for your colleagues. These include:
- Special event recognition as a Strategic Partner at the “Kids to Camp” Golf Tournament, Healthy Kids Day, and Annual Meeting;
- Recognition as a Y Strategic Partner on our website landing page that receives over 80,000 hits per month, with a link to your homepage;
- Special recognition in our Annual Report as a Strategic Partner;
- Press release announcing partnership;
- Acknowledgment as a Strategic Partner in our Development e-newsletter, which is distributed to over 50,000 Y members, staff, and donors;
