Summer Day Camp

Our overnight campers travel great distances from all over the world to enjoy the adventure, fun, and activities that Camp Jewell YMCA has to offer... you could practically walk here!

Attention: Due to numerous requests, day camp now starts at age 4!

Our Day Camp program, for children entering grades K-8, focuses on building confidence, strong character, and positive relationships within our safe, fun, and caring environment. Our highly trained staff supervise campers at an impressive 1 staff member for every 3 children. Day Camp is a great way for youth to enjoy the facilities, programs and special spirit at Camp Jewell. Our Day Camp program is licensed by the State of Connecticut, and accredited by the American Camping Association.

Camp Jewell has the ability to provide day campers with activities and excitement that only a world class resident camp and year-round outdoor center can offer.
