On this trip, campers will travel to Caratunk, Maine where they will use the Adventure Bound Campground for their base. From there they will take an overnight rafting trip down the Kennebec River. A day is also spent rock climbing on the nearby cliffs. It will be an exciting high adventure trip.
Martha’s Vineyard Beach and Bike - $815.00On this trip, campers will travel to Cape Cod, take a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and bike around the island. Campers will also spend a day or two on the beach and take a day-long kayaking trip. Make many friends and have fun touring one the East Coast’s finest scenic biking areas: an experience never forgotten!
Come sail away with us on beautiful Lake George. You will learn and rotate responsibilities, including helm, sail handling, navigation, getting "under way," anchoring and all aspects of sailing. Instruction is also provided in meal preparation and sanitation, environmental awareness in the lake basin, knots, low impact camping skills and group dynamics. Itineraries vary with the wind, but include several days of sailing instruction and experience, and camping on the Lake George Islands each night.
Take a two-day sea kayaking and camping tour of the rocky islands around Acadia National Park in Maine. You will see some great wildlife along the way and if you are lucky, seals will be spotted. Spend another day climbing the cliffs just above the waves and shopping in Bar Harbor. Join your friends, Woodstock staff and Certified Kayaking guides on this exciting adventure.
Acadia Park Leadership Service Adventure - $815.00Camp Woodstock is offering a Leadership and Service trip in partnership with Acadia National Park in Maine. Be prepared for hard work, adventure, friendship and fun. Work as a member of a volunteer team helping improve one of our national treasures. Be part of something meaningful and life-changing while earning 12 hours of community service toward your high school graduation requirement. Spend your recreation time exploring, hiking and swimming while camping in Maine’s beautiful Acadia National Park.
