Preschool Camps

All Preschool Programs are 9:00-Noon and are held at the YMCA Sports Center located at the Archdiocesan Center at St. Thomas Seminary. Participants should bring a snack and drink each day. Payment for preschool programs is due in full at time of registration. Must have a valid YMCA membership to participate. A medical form is not required for preschool programs.

Creative Movement

Age 3 – 5 years old

A magical week of dance, art and creativity! We will combine movement exercises with projects and crafts. Participants will learn to express themselves through dance, music and art while making friends and having fun!

Step Into Storybooks

Age 3 – 5 years old

Once upon a time, a group of princes and princesses came to a magical place to share stories, play and make friends! Our Storybook program will introduce children to a variety of stories followed by creative games and drama activities.

Sports Explosion

Age 3 – 5 years old

Sports of all sorts! Focus will be on learning about a sport each day and having fun trying new things! Sports introduced may include Nerf hockey, t-ball, lacrosse, soccer, and basketball.

Session 9: August 18 – August 22
Session 10: August 25 – August 29

YMCA Little Eagle

Age 3 – 5 years old

Strap on your backpack and it’s off to have fun with the YMCA! Water play, arts and crafts, nature exploration and a variety of games will all be part of your child’s day. Little Eagle is designed to be a positive first “Camp” experience for your child. Instructors will provide enriching activities that will instill a feeling of accomplishment, discovery and pride in each child. Your child should bring a bathing suit and towel each day along with a snack and drink.

Session 1: June 23 – June 27
Session 3: July 7 – July 11

Fee: $97 per session

Preschool Soccer

Age 3 – 5 years old

Your child will focus on learning the fundamentals of soccer through skills practice, games, scrimmages and team building exercises. A great introduction to the game!

Dates:

Session 6: July 28 – August 1
Session 7: August 4 – August 8

Summer Adventure Camp Family Nights

Each summer we have family nights that give Campers the opportunity to show parents around Camp, meet other families, and have fun together. We have three nights planned for this summer.

They are as follows:

• July 11th - All-American Family BBQ
• August 1st - International Potluck Dinner (please bring your favorite international treat to share!)
• August 22nd - Farewell to Summer Carnival
