Preschool Camps

NEW! Preschool Sports Academy 1/2 Day for Ages 3 – 5

Age 3 – 5 years old (coed)

Your child will learn new skills, make new friends and have lots of fun. The YMCA will offer a variety of sports programs for children 3 to 5 years old. The program is designed to teach new skills and make learning fun. Your child will need a labeled water bottle and a snack for break-time. Have children wear sneakers, shorts and a t-shirt and bring a bathing suit and towel. All Summer Pre-School Sports Academy programs are 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday unless otherwise noted.

PRESCHOOL SOCCER

Your child will focus on learning the fundamentals of the game such as passing, shooting, and teamwork. Daily schedule will include skill stations, relays, games and scrimmages, snack and swimming.

PRESCHOOL BASKETBALL

The children will learn the basic fundamentals of the game. Daily schedule will include stretching, running, skill development, fun games, swimming and scrimmages.

PRESCHOOL SPORTS EXPLOSION

Sports of all sorts! Focus will be on learning the fundamentals of the game. Daily schedule will include new skills, swimming, games and scrimmages. Sports introduced will include Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, Golf, Baseball, Lacrosse and Basketball.

PRESCHOOL DANCE & TUMBLE

The focus of this program will be teaching the basic concepts and skills of gymnastics and dance. Children will learn new skills and have fun. Daily schedule will include skill stations, games, swimming, tumbling and learning fun dance routines.
