In order to make the suit fitting night as pleasant as it possibly can be only METRO will only take checks (preferred) or
cash?
Nocredit/debit cards. If they can come prepared with
the check made out to Metro Swim Shop with your phone number on it things
would go along more smoothly.
Another idea is to have the swimmers in dry swim suits so that they can try
the new suits on.
Wilton Thanksgiving Invitational is posted at both pools:
The Wilton Y Thanksgiving Invitational has been posted at both pools. The
deadline date is Thursday, October 16th. This means that the entry will only be
up for one week. Please make sure you get into the pool, look at the board, and
sign up. Remember, no email responses will be accepted for this meet.

The OAK meet on December 7th has been moved to December 6th. This
conflicts with our dual meet against Valley Shore.
The 9 and over swimmers will not be swimming the OAK meet and it will not
be replaced with anything else. There are two separate meets that we are
attending the following weekend so a day off before the long weekend to follow
will be good for all!

Directions
The new Wethersfield Police Station is located at 250 Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield. It is a newer brick building on the East side of the road. Parking is in front of the building only. If the front is full, please park in the shopping center next door. No parking is allowed behind the building.
Via I-91 South: Take Exit 28, Rts. 5/15 South. From Rts. 5/15, take the exit for Rt. 99, and turn right onto Rt. 99, Silas Deane Highway. At the 2nd traffic light, the police station is on the left hand side.
Via I-91 North: Take Exit 26 Marsh Street. Turn left at the end of the ramp and follow Marsh Street which will become Church Street. At the first traffic light go right onto the Silas Deane Highway. At the second light the police station will be on the right. Via Route 2: Take the exit for Rt. 3 Putnam Bridge. At the third traffic light after you cross over I-91 turn right onto Rt. 99, Silas Deane Highway. At the fifth traffic light the police station will be on the right.
Mini-Rulebooks ($4.00) will be available at the clinic.
