Camp Farmington Valley

Celebrating our 5th year!

Camp Farmington Valley was founded in 2003 at the Farmington Valley YMCA facility in Granby, CT. Each new summer has offered more activities and spaces for camp to take place, which has followed with more campers to enjoy it! Come join us this summer for an experience you will truly enjoy!

Camp Farmington Valley has full access to indoor and outdoor spaces. We have a variety of games and group activities outside such as our arts and crafts lodge, archery, volleyball and basketball. New this year, we also will be switching up the campers schedules to allow for campers to choose what activities they would like to participate in 4 times a session. There are shaded areas and several water stations set up outside to provide the campers with a place to cool off and hydrate during those hot summer days. We also have an inflatable waterslide that is available to all campers throughout the week as an additional way to keep cool. Lunch is outside, weather permitting. We use the facility for our A.M. and P.M. program, we also use the pool, climbing wall, recreation room, and community room throughout the day.

NEW! ARTS CAMP

New to camp this summer! Arts Camp is being offered for campers entering grades 6th – 8th. The focus of this camp will paint techniques. They will participate in select all camp activities such as the opening and closing ceremonies, lunch and swimming. The children will be able to choose another free time activity if they desire. By the end of the 2 weeks the campers will have worked as a team to create a mural to be displayed at the Farmington Valley YMCA with pride. This mural will represent the 4 core values, Caring Honesty, Respect and Responsibility as well as teamwork and dedication.
