LIT Leaders in Training program

Age 14 – 15 years old

You can be a big hero to a little child! The LIT program is designed for 14 and 15 year olds interested in having fun while learning the skills to become a successful leader and possibly counselor. Leaders will spend a portion of each day as a group teambuilding, learning how to work with children, and sharing ideas led by a staff advisor. The remainder of the day will be spent by assisting a specifi c counselor with a group of campers. Leaders will also have the opportunity to participate in free swim and other special events. Leaders become an integral part of our staff and are expected to demonstrate the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
