We Build Strong Kids

The Sunrise Mountain Children’s Center has been serving Colebrook and surrounding communities for nearly 20 years. Our afterschool and homeschool programs serve Kindergarten through 6th graders at Camp Jewell. All programs strive to model the YMCA’s four character values, that of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Afterschool Enrichment Program

Our afternoon program features fun, exciting, educational, and recreational activities for your child to enjoy. The programs run Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm to 5:30pm, and correspond to the Colebrook School calendar. Each program runs eight weeks.

Homeschool Programs

Homeschool classes and activities are designed to supplement a homeschool curriculum in an exciting, hands-on environment. Our goal is to both provide educational opportunities and frienships for your child. There is class time and activity time each day.
