Camp Jewell Home >> Year Round Programs >> Team Building
Camp Jewell hosts over 20,000 visitors each year who enjoy our beautiful 540 acres, friendly staff, and innovative programs. During the summer, over 1500 campers and 180 staff come together to form a vibrant camp community. In the Fall, Winter, and Spring, Outdoor Center guests come to enjoy camp through our conference, teambuilding, and outdoor education programs.
Put simply, the Teambuilding Program at Camp Jewell aims to improve trust, communication, and teamwork within a group. Our groups range in age from 5th grade through adult. The activities vary accordingly, ranging from field games to low ropes initiatives and high ropes adventure. Whether just forming as a group or coming together to reinforce old ties, teambuilding groups bond over a program focusing on processing challenges, evaluating results, and experiencing the dynamics of cooperation, leadership, and diversity within a team. Special programs may also focus on practical leadership skills or application of group strengths to specific tasks beyond the camp setting. Fees vary depending on the number of participants, duration of stay, meals, and activities.
Camp Jewell has two separate, full-service camps within its 540 acres. Our facilities include two winterized dining halls, indoor and outdoor performance areas, three climbing walls, high and low ropes courses, archery range, lighted outdoor sports complex, three arts/crafts studios, mini-farm, and 26 large cabins, all along the picturesque shores of Triangle Lake.
Our winterized sleeping cabins hold up to 26 guests and each comes complete with restrooms and showers. All cabins are carpeted with a lounge and fireplace (except HAW ranch).
Our lakeside dining hall provides a pleasant atmosphere for relaxed dining. Our hearty menu is prepared under the direction of Chef Ken Jaffe and is served either family style or as a buffet. Salad bars, fresh fruit, and vegetarian alternatives are included, as well as 24-hour coffee and hot chocolate!
